To reach a state of inner calmness and relaxation of the body, take a moment to yourself, close your eyes, relax and soften your body. Take a deep breath in through your nose and hold for a count of three, releasing that breath out through your mouth. Repeat until your breath slows and you feel calm. When you are ready, open your eyes.

Studies show that lavender is a calming and relaxing herb - it has frequently been used for insomnia, anxiety, depression and natural stress relief.
